The fridge on your fridge freezer, is chilled by the temperature in your freezer. The reason that your chiller is not chilling will be down to one of the following reasons : 1 : The Flap is frozen and/ or the hole where the air comes through is frozen solid. First off, defrost the refrigerator over 24hours. Switch on & see if you achieve temperature in the chiller now. 2 : If you switch on after defrosting & the chiller fails to get down to temperature at all, then you have a problem, either with the motor controlling that flap or the thermostat telling it when to open & close. 3 : However if you achieve temperature in the chiller, but it then starts to warm up again over a couple of days, then you have a defrost problem. Defrost again (sorry!) then once defrosted, take of the back cover located the drain tube (usually located in a tray on top of the compressor) & give it a good blow, then switch on & see what happens. If the above does not do the trick, then you have a different defrost problem, most probably with a faulty heater or fan motor. Unfortunately both requires an engineer. JV Hope that helps ----------

Theoretically yes to your first question but NOT recommended. It's best to use a different 24V power source. In any case, you should NOT ground your 24V fan. It should only have a positive side and a negative side without ground. See left side of schematic below:Definitely NO to your second question. The point between the two power sources labeled Gnd should be the common ground for signal purposes.

4. with a meter, how can I check the fan motor to see if it is bad or not. can I ohm the wires out to see if bad?
