You will need to start with meat drippings. Here's a Chicken-Fried Steak Recipe (breakfast food) that includes directions on how to make a milk gravy. Chicken-Fried Steak Recipe 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste Freshly ground black pepper 1 large egg 2 tablespoons water 3/4 cup buttermilk baking mix (such as Bisquick) 2 pounds bottom or top round steak (cut into four individual portions), pounded well to tenderize 1/3 cup vegetable oil Milk Gravy (recipe follows) In a shallow pan or plate, sift together flour, salt, and pepper. In another shallow pan, combine egg and water. In still another shallow pan, place baking mix. Coat steaks in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, and then coat with baking mix. Preheat oven to 150 degrees F. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and heat until a drop of water sizzles. Add coated steak pieces, in batches, and fry 4 to 5 minutes per side or until golden brown and thoroughly cooked (add additional vegetable oil if needed). Remove from pan and keep cooked steaks warm in preheated oven. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the cooking oil. Put the frying pan back over the heat and make the Milk Gravy. Milk Gravy: 2 tablespoons pan drippings 1 tablespoon al-purpose flour 2 cups milk, heavy cream, or evaporated milk, room temperature Salt and freshly ground black pepper In the same frying pan with 2 tablespoons pan drippings, over medium heat, sprinkle flour over the oil and blend with a wooden spoon or whisk until smooth. Whisking or stirring constantly, slowly pour in milk, cream or evaporated milk; continue stirring, scraping loose browned bits from the bottom and sides of skillet, until the gravy begins to boil and thicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 to 8 minutes or until gravy is thickened to the desired consistency and the flour has lost its raw, pasty taste. Remove from pan and serve hot with the Chicken-Fried Steak. Makes 4 servings

3. How do I make Home-made vanilla ice cream?

BEST HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM 4 QUARTS: 4 eggs 2 1/4 c. sugar 2 cans evaporated milk 5 c. whole milk 4 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1 can Eagle Brand milk 6 QUARTS: 6 eggs 3 3/4 c. sugar 3 cans evaporated milk 1/2 gallon milk 6 3/4 tsp. vanilla 3/4 tsp. salt 1 can Eagle Brand milk Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar gradually. Beat until stiff. Add remaining and mix extremely well. Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze using rock salt and ice. Great with homemade hot fudge sauce. HOMEMADE HOT FUDGE SAUCE: 1 tbsp. butter 1 square unsweetened chocolate 1/3 c. boiling water 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. white Karo corn syrup 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt Melt butter in saucepan. Add chocolate and stir over low heat until melted. Add boiling water slowly, stirring constantly and bring to a boil. Add sugar and corn syrup, stir until dissolved. Simmer 5 minutes, watch carefully, then add vanilla and salt; mix well. Makes 1 cup. Great over homemade ice cream. Note: Use regular size cans 12-15 oz.

4. Would hot chocolate taste good with evaporated milk .?

5. Can't get the smell of rotten milk out of my bottle?

Bleach degrades some kinds of plastic, maybe all. You may have ruined your bottle. Check the manufacture name, look it up online and see if there is a no bleach instruction for cleaning the bottle. You may have to recycle your bottle. Metal bottles are better for you and for the environment. Next time you have to clean milk out of one, try an enzymatic cleaner. Enzymes consume bacteria but not your bottle.

6. How did you know your baby had a milk allergy?

Because my baby was strickly breastfed I did not find out she was allergic until 8 months old. If she had dairy she would start SCREAMING about 10 min after having it and she would get hives all over her face and a few on her body. My cousins baby is younger and when she had formula with Milk she would Power puke everywhere and have bloody stool and VERY FUSSY. Hope that helps
