IMDEA of water transfer

IMDEA (Spanish pronunciation:inde.a) is a project founded by the Madrid Regional Government, included in the IV Regional Plan of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation 2005-2008 (PRICIT), for the purpose of setting up advanced research centers and higher education and training in the Community of Madrid. Between 2006 and 2008 the project created nine IMDEA Institutes of which two (Mathematics and Social Sciences) were closed.


Crowder Lake University Park of water transfer

Crowder Lake University Park is a reservoir in Washita County, Oklahoma, 8 miles (13km) south of Weatherford on SH 54, 2 miles (3.2km) east and 1 mile (1.6km) south on County Road, then 0.75 miles (1.21km) west on Park Road. The 22 acres (8.9ha) park is on the 158 acres (64ha) Crowder Lake. Once a state park, it has been owned and operated by Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) since 2003.

Jindabyne receives five free-to-air television networks including all the digital free-to-air channels relayed from Canberra, and broadcast from Jindabyne Hill.

Networks available include ABC, SBS, Prime7, WIN, and Southern Cross Ten

Snowy Mountains TV is also broadcast from the same location, and operates in addition to the other broadcasters under an open narrowcasting licence.


Church of water transfer

The first All Saints Church dated from the 13th century and was at Waterhay, north of the village. In 1896 parts of it were rebuilt by Charles Ponting at a site closer to the village and less prone to flooding. The chancel of the old church still stands; both it and the newer church are Grade II* listed.

Mylibrz (pronounced Mi-shli-bush mlibu; German: Soldin; Kashubian: dzno) is a town in northwestern Poland, in West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is the capital of the Powiat of Mylibrz (powiat myliborski), with a population of 11,867. It is home to the first monastery of the Congregation of Sisters of Merciful Jesus and a sanctuary of the Divine Mercy.



Scotty's Junction, Nevada of water transfer

Scotty's Junction is an unincorporated community in the Sarcobatus Flat of Nye County, Nevada where State Route 267 meets with U.S. Route 95 at an elevation of 4,062 feet (1,238m).

It was named after Walter E. Scott (a.k.a. Death Valley Scotty, of nearby Scotty's Castle fame).

Nevada Public Radio maintains translator station K201BF in the area, retransmitting KNPR in Las Vegas on 88.1 FM.

Jerrinja is the name of an Aboriginal Australian people from the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Their traditional lands cover from Crooked River in the north to Clyde River in the south, from the coast (Roseby Park) in the east to the mountains in the west (Braidwood, New South Wales). It includes the areas of Shoalhaven which include Jervis Bay, Culburra Beach, Orient Point, Greenwell Point and Shoalhaven Heads.


Elizabethkingia anophelis of water transfer

Elizabethkingia anophelis is a bacterium isolated from the midgut of Anopheles gambiae G3 mosquitoes reared in captivity. The genus Elizabethkingia, named for former US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) microbiologist Elizabeth O. King, also includes E. meningoseptica which causes neonatal sepsis and infections in immunocompromised persons, E. endophytica, and E. miricola.

The possibility of a role for mosquitoes in the maintenance and transmission of E. anophelis remains unclear.

USS Marabout (AMc-50) was an Accentor-class coastal minesweeper acquired by the U.S. Navy for the dangerous task of removing mines from minefields laid in the water to prevent ships from passing.

Marabout was laid down 20 December 1940 by the Herreshoff Mfg. Co., Bristol, Rhode Island; launched 17 February 1941; sponsored by Mrs. R. F. Haffenreffer; and commissioned 8 July 1941, Lt. H. M. Larsen, USNR, in command.

The Pulicat class of patrol boats were a series of five water craft of Russian origin, which were in service of Indian Navy and were later-on transferred to newly formed Indian Coast Guard in 1977. Silvan is an off-stream storage reservoir, meaning that most of the water is sourced from other reservoirs as the actual catchment area of 9 square kilometres (3.5sqmi) for Silvan is small. Water for Silvan is transferred from Upper Yarra, O'Shannassy and Thomson (via Upper Yarra) reservoirs.

In turn, Silvan directly supplies water to many of Melbourne's eastern suburbs as well as other off-stream storage reservoirs, including Cardinia and Greenvale.
