The Los Angeles Kiss (stylized as LA KISS) were a professional arena football team based in Anaheim, California, and members of the Arena Football League (AFL). The Kiss joined the AFL as an expansion team after Los Angeles' previous franchise (Los Angeles Avengers) did not return as a part of Arena Football 1. The team's ownership was a group of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, members of rock band Kiss, as well as their manager Doc McGhee. Born in Mlaga, Andalusia, Albiol graduated from local Mlaga CF's youth system. He made his professional debut with the reserves on 21 May 2006, playing the entire second half of a 14 away loss against Real Madrid Castilla for the Segunda Divisin championship.

After spending five seasons in Tercera Divisin (where he represented Polideportivo Ejido B, Murallas de Ceuta FC and Vlez CF), Albiol first arrived in Segunda Divisin B in 2011, signing with Sporting Villanueva Promesas. He continued to compete in the latter level in the following years, with Lucena CF (two stints), La Roda CF, FC Jumilla and Ontinyent CF.

On 28 March 2019, after the club's dissolution, Albiol left Ontinyent.

The Yankees were one of three charter members of the third AFL (along with the Boston Bears and Buffalo Indians) that were formed with the expressed purpose of competing in a major professional football league to compete with the established National Football League. The new league became official after the Cincinnati Bengals, Columbus Bullies and a newly minted Milwaukee Chiefs defected from the American Professional Football Association. The roster for the 1940 season had five players who competed in the NFL in 1939. Head coach Jack McBride was also the coach of the New York Yankees of the second American Football League (19361937).

Vizcarra attended Ohio State University where he played on the men's soccer team in 1977 and 1978. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in education. In 1979, the Portland Timbers selected Vizcarra in the third round of the North American Soccer League draft. The Timbers released him during the pre-season and he signed with the Columbus Magic of the American Soccer League. On September 29, 1980, the expansion Denver Avalanche of the Major Indoor Soccer League held an open tryout. Vizcarra attended and was one of three players signed. The Avalanche folded at the end of the season in 1982. On January 20, 1983, Vizcarra signed with the San Diego Sockers who were then playing in the MISL.

The German People's Union (German: Deutsche Volksunion, DVU, also Liste D) was a political party in Germany. It was founded by publisher Gerhard Frey as an informal association in 1971 and established as a party in 1987. Financially, it was largely dependent on Frey. In 2011, it merged with the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD).

The party never reached the five-percent minimum in federal elections that is generally necessary to enter the Bundestag. The DVU won seats in several state parliaments.

The party, throughout its history, was financially completely dependent on Frey, something that caused it to be dubbed the "Frey Party".

Makoto Kitayama (born 1952) is a Japanese musician, active since the late '60s, most notably as vocalist and songwriter for the progressive rock band Shingetsu.

After Shingetsu folded at the end of the seventies, Kitayama has released two solo albums: the instrumental, keyboard-dominated, "Doubutsukai No Chinou" in 1982 (re-released in 2004) and the progressive rock outing "Hikaru Sazanami" in 1998. "Practical Encyclopedia of Kingdom Plantae" was released in 2008, and is the second part of a planned trilogy that started with his debut solo album, inspired by a book series from 1932.He's helped here by Takashi HAYASHI, the leader and guitarist of Qui.

Major Pain 2 Indee Freedom focuses primarily on the band's recordings under Suburban Noize Records, with four tracks from earlier albums recorded for Jive Records. Jive had previously issued the compilation The Best of Hed Planet Earth without the band's involvement. The music of Major Pain 2 Indee Freedom incorporates elements of styles ranging from hip hop and reggae to punk rock, hardcore punk and heavy metal. The new song "No Rest 4 da Wicked" was recorded especially for this album, and features a chorous reminiscent of The Police. The band purchased new recording material for the song, which premiered on Noisecreep.

Unlike its predecessor club, Dublin Association, the Nomads never had players represented on the Ireland team. The club itself saw this as a political move by the Belfast-based Irish Football Association, claiming that the IFA's selection committee of five men in Belfast were preventing anyone outside of that city to represent Ireland. The team did have representation in select teams representing the Leinster FA and Dublin. On 9 December 1893, in Belfast, two Nomads members were part of a Leinster team that faced Ulster, including R.H. Harrison, who captained the side.

Elvis Comrie (born 7 September 1959) is an English-American football forward, currently manager of USL Premier Development team, Worcester Hydra. Comrie played three seasons in the North American Soccer League, one in Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the American Indoor Soccer Association, two in the American Soccer League and one in the American Professional Soccer League. He earned four caps with the U.S. national team in 1984. Comrie worked briefly as a stockbroker and was formerly a college soccer coach. He left college coaching after the National Collegiate Athletic Association found him guilty of numerous violations. He holds the record for most wins by a coach at Holy Cross

It was originally a busy fishing village in the 19th century. The St Germans Quay was busy in the last century with cargoes of timber, coal and limestone. Until the last war the trade in roadstone continued. Now St Germans Quay is home to the village sailing club: the Quay Sailing Club (QSC). The sailing club is now well established and plays a part in the life of the village.

St Germans railway station was opened on 4 May 1859 at the west end of St Germans viaduct, 106 feet above the quay. It is notable for having the best-preserved Cornwall Railway station buildings.

The Communist Youth League of China, also known as the Young Communist League of China or simply the Communist Youth League, is a youth movement of the People's Republic of China for youth between the ages of fourteen and twenty-eight, run by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The league is organized on the party pattern. Its leader is its First Secretary, who is an alternate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The current First Secretary (appointed June 2018) is He Junke (born February 1969). The Communist Youth League is responsible also for guiding the activities of the Young Pioneers (for children below the age of fifteen).
