If One Were Writing the next Indiana Jones Movie, What Would Indy Be Seeking to Add to His Museum Co

I'd focus on the Cold War elements again, like the first half of the last film, but really ramp it up more. Have the KGB and the CIA involved, espionage in East & West Germany (and provide some overlap of ex-Nazis and the Stasi with the KGB, double-agents, as everyone fights over possession of a professor/archaeologist from Wales who has figured out the location of Blackbeard's Treasure.Why are they all so desperate to find it? Because part of the legend of Blackbeard that was "lost" (aka "hidden from the historical record by governments") is that Blackbeard had found the Thirteen Treasures of the Island of Britain, which he'd been collecting and is why (a) he returned to piracy after getting his pardon, and (b) why there was a big attempt made to find and kill him. The idea is that the items are all there in Blackbeard's lost treasure, hidden somewhere in the Atlantic on a "lost" island near the British Isles, and Jones is helping the Brits try to locate it while the Americans and Russians struggle for it, and while the FBI (still distrusting Jones due to the previous film) are hunting him through Europe and still accusing him of being a Commie sympathizer etc.McCarthyism would play a subtle role in some themes, as would the Cold War and espionage etc, and I'd mix lots of car chases, sneaking across boarders, Hitchcockian espionage thrills, and then a big dose of boats, ships, and seafaring adventurism. Really give it the flavor of a 1950's international espionage thriller, but with added influence of high-seas piracy cast within "modern" Cold War sea battles and travel. Have the obvious James Bond British spy influences as well.I always felt that the previous film -- Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls -- would've worked far better if the initial 1950's feel had been retained throughout the entire film. The stuff with the distrustful feds, McCarthyism hints, rock 'n roll greasers, Russian enemies, the obvious reflection of the fact that fear of atomic power and UFO crazes were common and reflected in film (the way the earlier films reflected WWII period influences from culture and film), and so on were all the best parts of the movie, and I wish the feds had chased Indie around accusing him of collaborating with the Russians, and that more double-crosses had existed within an "espionage" angle, and that there was more focus on Area 51 and UFOs throughout the rest of the film as well. The sudden jump toward jungles and total loss of the 1950's feel and influences was an error, in my view, and so I would think the next film should definitely try to retain it throughout, and look very closely at the films and genres that were popular in the '50s and then use influences properly to mix them together into something really unique and new to the franchise

Of course we can. Thanks for A2A!This is our join collection with Dorota. We have started collecting dice independently long time before we met. I have been mostly collecting standard six-sided dice, while Dorota has been collecting the more interesting ones. After we met, we have combined our collections, and also greatly expanded it. We give dice to each other as small gifts, we get them as presents from other people. During travels we try to buy new, unusual dice from the local shops. Unfortunately, lately it is quite difficult to find something newHere are our six-sided dice. Most of them are plain dice with pips, but there are some more interesting ones, too. For example, the Nontransitive dice are quite fun they are in the fourth jar from the right. Some alien dice which glow in the dark also got in this picture.Here are dice arranged in sets. We sometimes buy sets as a whole, and sometimes buy them one by one and try to complete them. For this reason we have some sets which are missing one or two dice. The large jars in the bottom right contain happy singles. Most of these dice are standard RPG dice produced by Chessex, but other companies also can be seen here (Koplow, DnDice, IRONDIE, PolyHero Wizard set, Level Up Dice, crystal-shaped dice by Crystal Caste, GameScience, old poker dice by Piatnik). We also have handmade dice by Dorota (third jar from the bottom in the right). Dice in the top right jar are 3D printed, we got them from Shapeways. Rocket-shaped, ball-shaped and bone dice are also interesting; they are in the right row, fourth from the top.Here are dice with more interesting shapes, or other interesting mathematical properties. Most of these are by The Dice Lab we have bought them because we found them interesting, then it turned out that their designers also have other scientific interests similar to ours, and we met them in person (and bought even more). They have weird shapes, but they are fair (because they are isohedral). The light blue dice in the top row are not isohedral nice isohedral shapes do not always exist for every number of sides but still fun.

Here are our dice with pictures or writings. Many of them are by Koplow. StoryDice in the top left. A rare find in the top right (promotional gadget dice). We did not know what the Asian characters (between the blue cloud and the dinosaur) meant and were afraid that they could be something NFSW, but they turned out to be food. We like horses and cats.

Here is the oversized part of our collection. It includes a 100-sided die, an electronic die to play games on mobile devices, a plush die, and some dice in dice.Here are dice used as jewelry and decoration, a bit of personal touch, and some tiny ones. They are handmade by Dorota, except the dice rings by CritSuccess. We were wearing the dice rings as promise rings, before we started wearing our wedding rings instead. Dorota needed to wear something blue for our wedding, and there is a tiny blue die behind the garter, unfortunately not visible in this picture. We also used a mosaic constructed from our dice for our wedding invitations (it was not a real mosaic, but rather a computer generated picture from the photos of our dice). The ones on the right are for decorating walves on bikes. Originally I had bought similar (but less nice) walve dice, but they got stolen before we met with Dorota.
