Hex to Binary, LED Blinking

You are almost there. Now you just have to read and parse the hex numbers supplied by the user. The simplest way to accept numeric user input is with Serial.parseInt(). This is not always ideal since it involves blocking the program until it either receives an invalid character or the reading times out. It is also not applicable to your situation because it only works with decimal numbers. The better standard way to get the input is to put the incoming bytes into a buffer until you catch a specific character designated as an end of message marker. This is typically a CR ('

' in C) or an LF ('

'). This technique is more involved than just calling parseInt() but it is often preferred because it can be done in a non-blocking way. See for example this simple command line interpreter. In your case, however, you do not need to buffer the incoming bytes. You can instead parse the hex number while you read it, like this:

1. rgb led current limit

The entire package probably cannot handle that current for long. You should choose the resistor values so that RGB current combined does not exceed the maximum rating of the package itself. Even if a single part separately can handle 20mA that does not mean the whole package can handle 20mA x 3. There are more intelligent/efficient ways to drive LEDs than just resistors, such as constant current drivers, which may be controllable in a way that it could dynamically adjust current per LED segment based on other inputs. Like when only R is on, set R to do 20mA, but when R and G is on, set each to only 15mA to respect the package ratings etc.Edit: If you look in the datasheet for a "maximum ratings" table, it will usually specify the total "power" that the package can handle. The power can be estimated from forward voltage drop of each LED for a particular forward current, which you can find for each of the different coloured LEDs

2. Has a Democrat ever led America into war?

FDR, Woodrow Wilson. Those were real wars, not America picking on weak countries that can not defend themselves. I suppose LBJ led America into Vietnam

3. Can I use older components with new LED flatscreen TV?

New tvs will have an optical audio output only. That output requires an optical audio cable (about $10) and then the receiver of your sound system would need an optical input. If you have that, just plug them together and you are good to go. If your sound system has only red/white audio inputs, then you can run sound straight from your cable or sat. box into the receiver and get sound that way. If you are using HDMI for the pic on the tv, be sure to turn the tv sound off if you use the cable box to receiver route. You can plug your dvd into the tv, again matching cables. If your dvd player has component (red/green/blue video red/white audio) outputs, that will provide a decent pic. If it has only the yellow video, then the pic will be soft.

4. LED Light Valve Stems Legal?

NO......not legal in ANY of the 50 states ....... ** tho may or may not be enforced......and some LEO agencies have a "color" policy...........which means any non blue or red is ok by them........but next town/city/county/state may have different policy... problem with that is that the next town may enforce the law.....and its a 400 dollar fine here (up to 1200 if red/blue and can attempt to charge with PD impersonation) .....u can check with PD to see what it is there......

5. Is liberalism like a cult led by the media?

If the media told the truth about Bush he would still be in Texas and we would never be stuck in the civil war in Iraq The media were cheerleaders for Bush and his idiotic war

6. What events led to the Rwandan genocide?

This question, among other factors, motivated me to study the genocide and write a longer post on the causes of the genocide which you can find here: zimdiaries.wordpress.comTo summarize my opinions:I agree with User-11271435790106573456 that the genocide would not have occurred without the "ethnicization" of Rwandan politics by the Belgians in the first place. However, the genocide was not a result of divisions in Rwandan society at large. It was organized by a few hutu authorities who were at risk of losing power, and who implemented the genocide in a top-down fashion, as part of a coup d'etat. By 1990, after 31 years of hutu rule, there was not much resentment of rural tutsi by rural hutu. They were equally poor; they were intermarrying and getting along fine. Thereafter, from 1990 to 1994, torrents of propaganda built up the divide again, until there was enough hatred that the hutu masses could be ordered to kill their tutsi neighbors. So what factors caused the change starting in 1990? In order of importance:Invasion by the RPF in October 1990. Agreed with Subhrajyoti Ghatak. This was a group of Rwandan tutsi refugees, most of whom had grown up in Uganda. Without their attack, there would have been no genocide. I think it is worth noting that they were exceedingly militant, and so although they "ended the genocide", we can also to some degree say they caused it.Assassination of Burundi President Ndadaye in October 1993. Agreed with Makarand Sahasrabuddhe. Ndadaye was a moderate and the first hutu president of Burundi. Tutsi army officers killed him, which made Rwandan hutu more suspicious of the mostly-tutsi RPF.Fall of coffee and tin prices in the late 1980s. Agreed again with Subhrajyoti Ghatak. This meant there was less money to go around, so power was more important. It also meant Rwanda depended more on aid, which allowed international donors to put the pressure that led to multi-party politics (below).Advent of multi-party politics in 1991. This change was a result of international pressures. It threatened the power of the ruling elite, a group which included the future organizers of the genocide. The assassination of Habyarimana was in my opinion more like the first act of the genocide, and not a cause, though it helped mobilize hutu all over the country. The four events above fall into three categories:Things that motivated the organizers of the genocide: 1, 3 and 4.Things that motivated rural hutu: 1, 2 and 3.Things that served as good propaganda: 1 and 2.
